Linda Plazonja, MSW
Chief Executive Officer
Linda Plazonja, MSW, joined the National Kidney Foundation of MA, RI, NH & VT in June, 2005 as Chief Executive Officer. Following a fifteen year corporate career in marketing communications and strategic consulting, Linda refocused her skills in executive leadership and consulting roles in the not-for-profit sector. Linda lives in Brookline with her husband, Jonathan and two sons. |
Andrea
Savisky RN, CNN
Regional Director of Patient Services & Medical Affairs
Andrea was
born and raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts and continues
to live in that area. She worked as a hemodialysis nurse in
both chronic and acute care for over 15 years and enjoys sharing
her wealth of information and experience with kidney disease
patients and their families. She earned her certification in
nephrology nursing in 1995. |

Kathleen
Durepo
Director of Development and Fundraising
As a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence,
Rhode Island, Kathleen Durepo began her career at the Long
Wharf Marriott in the catering department. Her career with
Marriott took her to Chicago and Atlanta in various sales,
marketing and event management positions. The last and most
recent position with Marriott was the Director of Destinations
by Marriott at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. During the latter
part of her career, she took a break from the corporate world
and joined the staff of Thompson Island Outward Bound as Director
of Events.
In
1999, she was diagnosed with kidney disease and recently received
a kidney from her husband, Tim. |
Michael
Blazek
Program and Events Manager
Michael Blazek comes to the National Kidney Foundation with
a background in marketing, media relations and event planning.
Michael is a graduate of Northeastern University, where he earned
a B.A. in Journalism and a Certificate in Meeting and Event
Management. Prior to joining the NKF, he worked as a marketer
and corporate events planner for a top national law firm based
in Boston. He has also worked as a project coordinator for a
public relations agency servicing technology clients and as
a communications aide for a number of political campaigns. Michael
is a member of Meeting Professionals International, New England.

Mark
Daley
Director of I.T., Database Management & Office Services
Mark is a veteran Information Technology and Operations professional,
who started his career at Bostons Childrens Hospital.
He has also worked in the Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing,
Technical Services, and Hardware/Software fields. Having spent
the past 5 years in the non-profit arena, a conscious decision
to help make a difference in peoples lives, he is a
business-oriented technologist with a strong emphasis on customer
service and process management. Mark and his wife live in
Millis, MA. |
Richard
Lynch
Office Services Coordinator
Richard joined the National Kidney Foundation in 2005 and brings
a strong customer service background that dates back to his
days as a sales associate in retail. For the past six years,
Rich has honed his administrative skills in the medical field
working at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Vanguard
Health Care. Having worked on both sides of the patient services
spectrum, Richard has developed strong skills in meeting the
needs of the organization administratively and compassionately
and competently meeting the needs of the clients we serve. Richard
hails from the South Shore and has a passion for music, playing
bass guitar in two bands. |
