Nutritional Supplement and Support Program
Dialysis patients often require nutritional supplements to get enough protein and calories. Other kidney disease patients may need them on a short-term or long-term basis, yet no insurance carriers currently cover nutritional supplements. We are able to provide some financial assistance to patients who cannot cover the cost of such supplements on their own.

Council on Renal Nutrition of New England Coookbook
This cookbook is more than a collection of recipes. It includes a discussion of nutrients, and a set of menus with pictures of the New England countryside. Information on NKF affiliate and Renal Network offices are included. Recipes were modified to be low in saturated fats and were analyzed for nutrient content per serving as well as renal and diabetic exchanges. The cookbook advocates that moderation and common sense are the keys to freedom in diet planning. This cookbook was funded by a grant from the National Kidney Foundation of MA/RI/NH & VT.
