About
the Program
If it is time to say goodbye to your car, truck, boat, RV or even
airplane, please consider donating your used vehicle to the National
Kidney Foundation. With a simple telephone call, you can arrange
to have your vehicle safely removed and the proceeds will go directly
to support patient services, education and research in your community.

Some
supporters have been concerned about recent legislation affecting
the Kidney Car program. We want to reassure you that Kidney
Cars are alive and well. Your donaton is important!
The recent federal legislation requires your National Kidney
Foundation affiliate to process more paper and to keep more
records. It does not diminish this important source
of income for serving the thousands of people in Massachusetts,
Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont who are suffering
from Kidney Disease.Your
Kidney Car donation will allow us to continue the kidney screenings,
public education and assistance to patients and their families

Program
Benefits
- Arranged
pick-up and towing of your car by the National Transportation
Network (fully licensed and insured).
- The
most efficiently managed program in the country - over 67 percent
of our proceeds go to support local affiliates. The national average
for other car donation programs is 40 percent.
- A
large part of your donation may be tax deductible. The applicable
IRS definition can be found in IRS
Publication 526.
- A
quick and easy way of disposing of vehicles that are no longer
needed.

types of vehicles accepted - autos, trucks, sport utility vehicles,
motor homes, motorcycles, boats and airplanes.
