Funds raised during our golf tournaments are used to support our mission. Our programs include emergency grants to dialysis and transplant patients, educational and rehabilitation programs for kidney patients, KEEP, an early kidney disease screening program and organ donor awareness. One in nine American adults have chronic kidney disease and over 80,000 people are awaiting a life-saving organ transplant. It is for these people and programs that we ask your support.

The Cadillac Invitational events are the only tournaments of their kind where the winning team advances to Pebble Beach in January to play in a four-day National Championship. The Cadillac Invitational National Finals is a 72 hole tournament conducted over the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Links at Spanish Bay, The Bayonet and Del Monte Golf Course. In addition to the invitation (registration fee) to compete in the National Finals, each member of the winning team receives a round-trip airline travel certificate (some restrictions apply).

Last year we raised over $90,000.00 and hope to exceed $100,000.00 in 2005. If you are interested in becoming an official partner through sponsorship, please contact Kathleen Durepo, manager of special events at 800-542-4001 or register online at www.kidney.org/funds/kidneygolf . The Cadillac Invitational Golf Tournament is a significant event and we look forward to your commitment to help fight against kidney disease.

More information on sponsorship.

National Division Requirements
To compete in the National Division teams must consist of four amateur golfers whose combined USGA Indexes total 43.0 or higher. A team may only have one member whose USGA index is 8.0 or lower. All winners’ handicap indexes are subject to verification.

Open Division Requirements
The majority of our golfers play in the open division. The open division offers golfers who are not interested in competing to go to the National Finals with all the benefits of tournament sponsorship without the handicap index requirements.

There are no index requirements to play in the Open Division. Teams in the Open Division are not eligible to move on to the Cadillac Invitational National Finals at Pebble Beach in January 2006.
